Veriq brought together orthopaedic surgeons, academic researchers, medical device manufacturers and regulatory representatives from the MHRA and BSI for a symposium exploring how the UK can support earlier patient access to safe and effective orthopaedic innovations.
The objective was to consider how advances in evidence generation and proportionate clinical evaluation could support more efficient approval pathways, while maintaining rigorous standards of patient safety and clinical performance.
